Work Visit to National Audit Department Malaysia

​On 10th July 2013, Audit Department of Brunei Darussalam pays a courtesy call to the Auditor General of Malaysia in conjunction with the work visit to the National Audit Department Malaysia, Putrajaya from 8th to 12th July 2013.


The work visit was led by Yang Mulia Pengiran Fauziah bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad Kifli, Acting Senior Assistant Auditor General and two other officials Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Siti Kamariah Binti Haji Mohiddin, Acting Assistant Auditor General Grade I and Yang Mulia Rozienah binti Md Aliuddin, Auditor.


The objective of the work visit is to learn on the methodology of financial audit on annual account, government owned companies and statutory bodies, the administration of training and other administrative management of the National Audit Department Malaysia in order to enhance the Audit Department’s capacity, efficiency and effectiveness of the audit process as well as its administration.


In addition, it is also to develop a closer cooperation between Audit Department Brunei Darussalam and the National Audit Department Malaysia for enhancement of the department’s capacity in public sector auditing as well as to promote research, improve training and continuing education through sharing of auditing best practices and international standards in line with the Audit Department Strategic Plan 2013-2018.
