Mission

To ensure that Resources (finance, personnel, material) allocated to His Majesty's
Government Ministries / Departments / Agencies are utilised and managed economically,
effectively and efficiently; and
- To ensure proper accounting of the collection of the Government's revenue.
Function
To provide assurance by independent auditing and subsequent reporting on the
Government Annual Accounts, accounts, books, records, documents, construction contracts,
computerised accounting systems of Government Ministries / Departments / Agencies
subject to his audit.
Objective
To promote accountability in all Government Ministries / Departments / Agencies
in the management and administration of Government financial resources.
